A 2016 Senate Report indicated that barriers to internal trade hurts Canada’s economy by as much as $130 Billion.
The Canadian Free Trade Agreement announced in spring 2018 was a disappointment for Canadian citizens and businesses as it allowed many exceptions that keep internal trade barriers in place.
On November 23, 2017 I introduced Private Members’ Motion M-158 which calls on the Government to renegotiate the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
