For Immediate Release

STRATFORD—John Nater, MP for Perth—Wellington, expressed his condolences upon hearing of the passing of former Member of Parliament, the Honourable William “Bill” Herbert Jarvis at the age of 85.

Mr. Nater said: “I am saddened to hear of the passing of MP Jarvis. He was a pillar of our community for many years and served his constituents admirably in the House of Commons for over 12 years.” “I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Bill’s family, including his children Richard and Elizabeth and their mother Mrs. Vivian Jarvis on Bill’s passing. While Bill Jarvis will certainly be missed, we can nonetheless celebrate his legacy of service.”
