M.P. Nater pleased Rogers Hometown Hockey is coming to the City of Stratford

Stratford, ON – John Nater, M.P. for Perth-Wellington was pleased with today’s announcement that Rogers Hometown Hockey will be visiting the City of Statford on December 10-11, 2016.

M.P. Nater said: “I am very happy to see Rogers Hometown Hockey came to Stratford for the 2016-17 NHL Season. The love for the beautiful game of hockey runs deep in our communities in Perth-Wellington.”

He continued by saying “A lot of great hockey players have come from our riding, such as the great Howie Morenz of the Montreal Canadiens, Jared McCann of the Florida Panthers, two time Stanley Cup Champion Tim Taylor, and Nick Spaling formerly of the San Jose Sharks. The Rogers Hometown Hockey tour is a great community celebration and I look forward to hosting them in December.”

The Rogers Hometown Hockey tour is a free weekend of celebrations for hockey fans of all ages. This will be the third season of the tour and will include interactive games, appearances by NHL alumni and prize giveaways throughout the weekend.
